New for 2007! The long
awaited official launch of the East of Chatham
brand of offshore fishing tackle is here at last!
The East of Chatham brand will consist of
the finest squid rigs money can buy, as well as teasers,
daisy chains, and assorted hook baits. We struggled as
to which direction we wanted to go, and have committed
ourselves to making things just a little different than
everyone else.
By different I mean that the East of Chatham
brand will truly be premium offshore fishing tackle. All
East of Chatham rigs and lures will
feature stainless steel hooks as standard, ball bearing
swivels, the best line and crimps on the market, and
many features not found on your everyday bars and rigs.
All East of Chatham rigs are built,
tested, and fished by commercial tuna fishermen.
We of course had the option of making things just like
everyone else, and pricing accordingly. We opted not to
do that. When quality and precision are important to
you, then you want the East of Chatham
brand of offshore squid rigs and daisy chains for
bluefin and yellowfin tuna.
The East of Chatham brand is a wholly
owned subsidiary of Offshore Pursuits L.L.C., and like

The East of Chatham Squid Rigs are
offered in 36" stainless steel, 36" titanium, and 48"
stainless steel bar configurations as shown above. (the
stinger is hanging on the right side for picture
purposes only. The last squid on the main line has a 350
lb Pro lock ball bearing swivel buried in the body that
is used for attaching the stinger of your choice).
All East of Chatham Squid rigs come
standard with detachable stingers offering more
versatility. All 9" bars have an 11" stinger, all 11"
bars have a 13" stinger, and the 13" bars have a 13"
stinger. All squid rigs have the
option of floater squid on the teaser lines as well as
weighted stingers.
All East of Chatham Squid Rigs are built
using the new Tormenter line of shell squid. These are
(in our opinion, as well as anybody who has seen, held,
or fished them) the finest shell squid on the market
today. These squid feature a heavier wall thickness than
the "competition" and is consistent throughout the squid
body. The squid colors are all proven favorites, and the
coloring of the squid is rich and vibrant. To top it
off, these squid have the best eyes around. Don't take
